Job summary

Yellow Brick Road seeks an Educator’s Aide to support teachers in delivering play-based, developmentally appropriate activities for young children in Minnesota. You will help create a warm, inclusive classroom culture and assist with daily routines.

The role emphasizes supervision, communication with families, and collaboration with the Lead Educator and Director. Flexible, weekday schedule with opportunities for professional growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must meet the Minnesota DHS Teacher’s Aide qualification requirements.
• Experience with young children in a childcare setting is preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Educator in implementing play-based, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Provide active supervision to ensure children's safety and engagement in all activities.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe classroom environment; support positive behavior guidance.
• Greet families and support positive daily interactions during drop-off and pick-up; communicate via the center’s platform.
