Job summary

The Arc Alliance is seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support infants and toddlers in Montgomery, Berks, and Chester Counties through The Arc Alliance Children’s Services Early Intervention Program. In this part-time contract role, you will coach caregivers, perform developmental evaluations, deliver therapy, and help families build communication skills within everyday routines.

Travel within counties is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology License.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with infants and toddlers.
• Strong organizational, follow-through, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver coaching using a family-centered, routines-based approach.
• Perform formal and informal developmental evaluations.
• Deliver direct therapy services as appropriate.
• Assess equipment needs and guide caregivers in use.
• Complete session documentation and billing per EI requirements.
• Maintain required direct service levels.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff and county partners.
• Complete 24 hours of annual EI training.

As a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will coach and support caregivers of young children with disabilities—helping them build communication and functional skills within everyday routines and activities. This is a rewarding, relationship-driven role focused on strengthening families and promoting meaningful progress.

What You’ll Do

• Provide caregiver coaching using a family-centered, routines-based approach
• Perform formal and informal developmental evaluations
• Deliver direct therapy services as appropriate
• Assess equipment needs and guide caregivers in use
• Complete session documentation and billing per state EI requirements
• Maintain required direct service levels
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff and county partners
• Complete 24 hours of required annual state EI training

Qualifications

Additional Requirements

• FBI, Criminal History, and Child Abuse Clearances (at hire and maintained)
• Valid PA Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Current automobile insurance (recommended limits: $100,000/$300,000 liability; $100,000 property damage)
• Ability to travel within Montgomery, Berks, and Chester Counties
• Annual 3-year driving record check
