Job summary

The Arc Alliance is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support children in Montgomery, Berks, and Chester Counties through our Early Intervention program. This contract, part-time role focuses on coaching families, conducting developmental assessments, and delivering therapy in natural environments.

You will collaborate with families, caregivers, and county partners to promote meaningful development, complete required EI documentation, and travel within the service area as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy License.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants and toddlers.
• Strong organizational, follow-through, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver coaching using a family-centered, routines-based approach.
• Perform formal and informal developmental evaluations.
• Deliver direct therapy services as appropriate.
• Assess equipment needs and guide caregivers in proper use.
• Complete session documentation and billing per state EI requirements.
• Maintain required direct service levels.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff and county partners.
• Complete 24 hours of required annual state EI training.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with families and community partners.

As a Licensed Occupational Therapist, you'll partner with families to strengthen children's functional skills through coaching, support, and hands-on strategies embedded in everyday routines. This role focuses on empowering caregivers and promoting meaningful developmental progress in natural environments.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• FBI, Criminal History, and Child Abuse Clearances (required at hire and maintained)
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
• Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
• Recommended coverage: $100,000/$300,000 liability and $100,000 property damage
• 3-year driving record check (required at hire and updated annually)
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Montgomery, Berks, and Chester Counties
