Job summary

The Arc Alliance is seeking an Early Intervention Physical Therapist (PT) to work part-time in a flexible, community-based role across Montgomery, Berks, and Chester Counties in PA. You will coach families, perform developmental evaluations, and provide direct therapy in natural environments to help young children build essential motor skills.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy License.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with infants and toddlers.
• Strong organizational, follow-through, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver coaching using a family-centered, routines-based approach.
• Perform developmental evaluations.
• Deliver direct therapy services as appropriate.
• Assess equipment needs and guide caregivers on positioning and use.
• Complete session documentation and billing in accordance with EI regulations.
• Maintain required direct service levels.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with county partners.
• Complete 24 hours of required annual state EI training.
• Build strong relationships with families and community providers.

Join The Arc Alliance Children's Services Early Intervention Program and help young children build strength, mobility, and independence during their most critical developmental years.

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, you will partner with caregivers to support children with disabilities through coaching, education, and hands-on strategies embedded in everyday routines. This role focuses on empowering families and helping children develop foundational motor and functional skills in natural environments.

What You'll Do

• Provide caregiver coaching using a family-centered, routines-based approach
• Perform formal and informal developmental evaluations
• Deliver direct therapy services as appropriate
• Assess equipment needs and guide caregivers in proper positioning and use
• Complete session documentation and billing in accordance with state EI regulations
• Maintain required direct service levels
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff and county partners
• Complete 24 hours of required annual state EI training
• Build strong, supportive relationships with families and community providers

Qualifications

Requirements

• FBI, Criminal History, and Child Abuse Clearances (required at hire and maintained)
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
• Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance
• Recommended coverage: $100,000/$300,000 liability and $100,000 property damage
• 3-year driving record check (required at hire and updated annually)
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Montgomery, Berks, and Chester Counties
