Pay: DOE Starting at $30 an hour

Job Description
T & K Pediatric Services is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Intervention Specialist to join our team. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in assessing and supporting the developmental needs of infants and young children who are at risk of, or experiencing developmental delays or disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify developmental delays or disabilities in infants and young children.
- Provide direct early intervention services to children, focusing on individualized goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to address the specific needs of each child.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated and consistent care.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of children through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide guidance, education, and support to families on strategies to support their child's development at home and in their community.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early intervention and implement evidence-based strategies in your work.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Nursing, Special Education, Speech Pathology
- Proven experience working with infants and young children with developmental delays or disabilities.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and the principles of early intervention.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer and technology for documentation purposes.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
