VocoVision is a leader in providing virtual special education services to schools nationwide. We're seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals delivering high-quality virtual instruction to students with diverse learning needs.

Position Details

  • 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
  • Elementary grade levels (K-5)
  • Virtual classroom environment
  • Caseload of approximately 40-50 students
  • Primarily supporting students with mild to moderate learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Create engaging virtual lesson plans aligned with state standards and IEP goals
  • Monitor and document student progress using digital assessment tools
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and school staff
  • Facilitate virtual IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences
  • Provide specialized instruction in small group and one-on-one settings
  • Adapt curriculum materials for virtual delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Active New Hampshire special education licensure
  • Minimum 2 years of school-based special education teaching experience
  • Experience with virtual teaching platforms preferred
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and IEP development
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
