Job summary

Curative Care in Milwaukee seeks an Early Intervention Specialist - Special Education Teacher to deliver Birth to Three services in the child’s natural environment. You will plan and implement developmentally appropriate instruction for children with special needs, collaborating closely with families and caregivers.

The role requires a Wisconsin DPI license and a Bachelor’s in Special Education or Early Childhood Education, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or Early Childhood Education (Exceptional Educational Needs).
• DPI 808, 809, or Vision 803/Hearing 805 license required; Wisconsin driver’s license, reliable transportation and car insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide early intervention services to children aged 0-3 in their natural environments.
• Address all development areas; base activities on goals in the IFSP.
• Support families through the Birth to Three process.
• Collaborate with Director of Birth to Three and other staff.
• Participate in screening, evaluation and IFSP processes with a Primary Provider Approach.
