Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or Early Childhood Education (Exceptional Educational Needs). Visual and Hearing Impairment Degrees also accepted.
• DPI 808, 809, or Vision 803/Hearing 805 license required. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license, reliable transportation and car insurance are required.
• Must have early childhood Special Education license.

Responsibilities

• Provide Special Instruction Services, directly or on a consultation basis, to children with special needs and their families.
• Support families and caregivers to be integral to the Birth to Three Program.
• Perform evaluations of children aged 0-3 in their home settings.
• Plan, develop and implement educational programs aligned with IFSP goals.
• Coordinate communication among staff and participate in screening, evaluation and IFSP processes.
• Collaborate with Early Intervention staff under a Primary Provider Approach with coaching strategies.
