SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking an Early Intervention Social Worker / Mental Health professional in Massachusetts. This full-time/contract role focuses on infant-toddler development, parent coaching, and home visits to families within the catchment area.
Requirements include a Master’s in Social Work with LCSW/LICSW licensure or Counseling Psychology with LMHC/LMFT licensure. Pediatric experience is preferred, along with solid computer and communication skills.
About Us:
Our Early Intervention programs provide services to families with children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays. The primary focus of early intervention is to provide education, training, and support to families to help their children learn and grow. We provide services in the home, at our early intervention centers, and in the community.

Responsibilities:
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.
Social Work: Master’s Degree in Social Work; Current licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) OR Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Mental Health: Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology or Educational Psychology OR Current Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), License Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or license eligible for LMHC or LMFT
