The Erie County Medical Center Corporation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide early intervention and preschool services for children birth to five years of age. Qualifications

• Possession of a license and current registration to practice Speech-Language Pathology in New York State.
• Special requirements include possession of a valid New York State Driver’s License.
• Section 424-a of the Social Services Law requires clearance related to child abuse/maltreatment records.
• Ability to travel to various Erie County sites and work within Early Intervention/Preschool programs.

Responsabilités

• Conducts speech-language assessments to determine the presence and extent of communication disorders and/or impairments; prepares assessment reports.
• Plans and provides speech-language therapy services in the child’s least restrictive environment as outlined in the IFSP/IEP.
• Plans, develops and implements age-appropriate educational outcomes and goals for the students.
• Maintains regular communication with families/caregivers, general education teachers and other treatment team members.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports.
• Supervises non-licensed Clinical Fellowship Year candidates and assists with schedules.
