Job summary

Center for Health Care Services seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist, CCC to provide direct speech therapy for babies and toddlers birth to 36 months, and to perform developmental assessments and targeted evaluations within an ECI framework.

The role includes IFSP development, family-centered planning, and thorough documentation to meet program requirements, with collaboration on an ECI Interdisciplinary Team and related duties.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• 1–3 years of experience in Speech Therapy with at least 6 months in pediatrics.
• Texas Speech-Language Pathology License and CCC.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the work of assigned personnel and conducts performance evaluations.
• Conducts and interprets assessments and/or evaluations in area of profession.
• Facilitates entry into services for eligible children from birth to 36 months and their families.
• Participates in IFSP development in a routines-based, family-centered process.
• Ensures clinical documentation meets agency standards and is submitted timely.
• Provides case-management to families to reach IFSP outcomes.
• Participates as a member of the ECI Interdisciplinary Team.
