The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) seeks Early Intervention Service Coordinators to support the NC Infant-Toddler Program. You will help families by developing IFSPs, coordinating speech, OT, and PT services, and guiding transitions as children reach age three.
Expect to travel within the CDSA catchment area, with a standard M–F schedule and emphasis on family-centered care, advocacy, and ensuring continuity of services for young children and their families.

Early Intervention Service Coordinators (EISCs) are the heart of the Early Intervention system! They play a vital role in supporting children in the NC Infant-Toddler Program and empowering families as their child’s first and most important teachers. Research shows that birth to age three is a critical period for building family competence and confidence—offering a powerful opportunity to positively influence a child’s development and learning.
Work Schedule: M – F 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Daily travel by car is required within the CDSA catchment area.
Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. Recruitment Range: $37,377 - $47,296. The following Management Preferences are not required, but applicants that possess these skills are preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education, Psychology from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of professional experience working with the population served.
