Job summary

The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene seeks a professional for the Early Intervention Program (EIP) to support children with developmental delays. This role involves facilitating meetings with families and service coordinators, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate degree in Business, Social Sciences, Health Care or related fields.
  • Minimum four years of experience in Health Care Program Planning.
  • Master’s degree in relevant disciplines with three years of experience is also acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate IFSP meetings with families and service coordinators.
  • Ensure accurate completion of procedures and documentation.
  • Respond to mediations/fair hearings as assigned.
  • Communicate professionally with all stakeholders.

Skills

Understanding of early childhood development, delays and disabilities
Knowledge of NYC services for young children
Good communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Knowledge of EI regulations

Education

Baccalaureate Degree in relevant fields
