IU Health seeks a pediatric physical therapist to provide home-based therapy for children birth to three through Indiana’s Early Intervention Program. You will work collaboratively with families in their natural environment to address gross motor skills, mobility, and development.

The role involves educating caregivers on exercises and strategies, performing developmental assessments, and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Formación

• Doctoral degree in physical therapy or Bachelor’s/Master’s in physical therapy prior to 2016.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Current Physical Therapist license in Indiana.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.
• Credentialing for Early Intervention may be required.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department.

Responsabilidades

• Provides home-based, direct therapy interventions to patients.
• Addresses gross motor skills, mobility, and physical development in early intervention (birth to three).
• Educates and supports caregivers on exercises and strategies to promote development.
• Completes developmental assessments and refers for additional medical or professional services as needed.
• Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
