Job summary

Center for Family and Child Enrichment, Inc. is hiring a Physical Therapist to support infants and toddlers. The role involves home visits, parent coaching, and coordination of services across a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires MA PT licensure, pediatric experience, and strong communication skills. Travel within the catchment area and a valid driver’s license are required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration
• Two years of pediatric experience preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams
• Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
• Bilingual/Bicultural candidates encouraged to apply

About Us

Our Early Intervention programs provide services to families with children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays. The primary focus of early intervention is to provide education, training, and support to families to help their children learn and grow. We provide services in the home, at our early intervention centers, and in the community.

Job Description

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
• Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
• Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
• Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
• Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Professional Health.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
