Job summary

Criterion Child is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to deliver early intervention services across home, center, and community settings. You will coach families, participate in screenings and assessments, and work within a trans-disciplinary team to support infant-toddler development.

We offer Full Time, Part Time, and FFS roles with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and monthly incentives. FFS rates range $61–$65 per hour; MA licensure and pediatric experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the MA Board of Registration.
• Two years pediatric experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive and Teams.
• Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Bilingual/Bicultural candidates encouraged to apply.

The primary focus of early intervention is to provide education, training, and support to families to help their children learn and grow. We provide services in the home, at our early intervention centers, and in the community.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
• Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
• Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
• Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
• Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Physical Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Professional Health.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
