Job summary

TheraCare Staten Island is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide EI services for infants and toddlers in their natural environments. You will deliver direct OT for ages 0–3, develop IFSP-aligned plans, and work with families and a multidisciplinary team to support developmental gains.

Applicants must be a NYS-licensed OT, with EI experience and a strong focus on family-centered care. Travel across Staten Island is required, and a flexible collaboration with the team is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Licensed NYS OT with registration.
• Experience in home-based Early Intervention.
• Knowledge of Early Intervention standards and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services for children 0–3 in their home or community settings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IFSP goals.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members.
• Coach and educate caregivers to support therapy carryover at home.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with NYC EI documentation standards.
• Participate in IFSP meetings and case reviews as needed.
