Job summary

Criterion Child Enrichment, Inc. seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our early intervention team serving birth to 3-year-olds in Massachusetts. The role focuses on infant-toddler development, family coaching, and home and center-based services.

You will collaborate with a trans-disciplinary team, participate in screenings and assessments, and coordinate services to support IFSP goals. Eligible candidates may receive sign-on bonus and performance incentives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Current Massachusetts OT licensure required.
  • Two years pediatric experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Bilingual/Bicultural candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of infant-toddler development.
  • Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
  • Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as part of a trans-disciplinary team.
  • Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
  • Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
  • Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.

Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
  • Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
  • Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
  • Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Professional Health.
  • Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
