Job summary

MECA Therapies, LLC in Taos, NM is seeking compassionate Developmental Specialists to join our Early Intervention team serving infants and toddlers birth to three in natural environments. You will coach families, deliver Special Instruction, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support IFSP outcomes while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

We support professionals with ongoing certification, mileage reimbursement, and flexible scheduling while contributing to positive child development

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned service areas.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to obtain New Mexico FIT certifications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary evaluations to determine Early Intervention eligibility.
• Provide Special Instruction services across cognitive, communication, physical, social-emotional, and adaptive domains.
• Coach parents on evidence-based strategies to support learning in daily routines.
• Develop intervention plans aligned with IFSP outcomes.
• Collaborate with families, therapists, and community partners.
• Attend TTCMs, IFSP meetings, reviews, and transition planning.
