Job summary

Center for Family and Child Enrichment, Inc. is actively hiring Early Intervention staff to support families with children birth to 3 years, delivering services in home, center, and community settings. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities include assessing infant-toddler development, applying parent coaching, and coordinating screenings, home visits, and family service plans with a trans-disciplinary team across the catchment area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in infants and toddlers, early childhood education, special education or child studies.
  • 300 hours of practicum or work experience with children under five.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe and Office365 tools.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
  • Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
  • Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
  • Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
  • Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
  • Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.

  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish candidates are highly encouraged to apply
