Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a clinician to provide child development evaluations and to determine goals and treatment plans for behaviorally disordered toddlers, including those with or suspected of ASD.

The role involves communicating with families, developing home and community behavior programs, and maintaining thorough documentation in line with regulatory guidelines. A BA/BS in a related field and at least two years of direct care experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of direct care experience with children ages birth to 5 implementing behavioral programs.
• BA/BS in special education, early childhood or psychology.
• Crisis Management Certification preferred; coursework in behavioral methods for children.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates comprehensive evaluation/assessment skills and updates treatment plans as needed.
• Communicates with families to provide education and resources tailored to developmental level and cultural needs.
• Develops home and community behavioral programs with reinforcement strategies.
• Maintains accurate records of evaluations, progress, and outcomes.
