Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 18 credit hours in ECE (PG E-5); or
• Associate degree in ECE with 18 credit hours (PG E-4); or
• Infant Toddler CDA credential (PG E-3); or
• Enrolled in Infant Toddler CDA program with coursework completed within 12 months and CDA within 24 months (PG E-2).

Responsibilities

• Role modeling program mission and child development practices.
• Screen assigned children within first 45 days of enrollment.
• Create an engaging, positive instructional environment.
• Develop and implement lesson plans based on curriculum.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and share progress with parents.
• Maintain children’s health, welfare, and safety.
• Conduct home visits and parent-teacher conferences to discuss progress.
• Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners to support school readiness goals.
