Casa Central’s Early Learning Academy is seeking an Early Head Start Teacher in Chicago to deliver developmentally appropriate learning for infants and toddlers. The role involves collaborative planning, data-informed instruction, and strong family engagement to prepare children for kindergarten.

Responsibilities include conducting screenings, maintaining documentation, and participating in frequent parent conferences.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA or AA in ECE with infant/toddler coursework required.
• Gateways credentials levels 3-5 required by position.
• A BA or higher degree with Gateways credentials may be required for higher Teacher levels.

Responsabilités

• Create and implement group lesson plans with the teaching team using child outcome data.
• Conduct screenings and observations; document progress in databases and portfolios.
• Communicate with parents via conferences and home visits; support School Readiness goals.
• Lead the classroom team; support inclusive practices and positive behavior strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start standards and agency PQI processes.
• Support recruitment and community outreach activities.
