Job summary

Wyoming Child and FamilyDevelopment, Inc. is seeking a paraeducator to support the Early Head Start program for children from birth to three years old.

You will work with the Lead Teacher to prepare materials and set up the classroom, while delivering individualized care to meet each child and family's needs. You will follow Head Start/Early Head Start standards, licensing requirements, and WCFD policies, provide infant/toddler care, and participate in screenings and training as required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and be 18+.
• Must obtain a Child Development Associate Credential within a specified time frame.
• Additional training or certifications may be required by Wyoming Child and Family Development, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Recruit children for the program per guidelines from the Department of Health and Human Services and WCFD.
• Provide infant/toddler care based on child development knowledge.
• Deliver services to children, families, and staff in various settings.
• Communicate with staff, children, and families verbally and nonverbally.
• Assist in organizing group socialization activities for children and families.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Provide individualized educational activities to support exploration and problem-solving.
• Support IFSP/IEP goals with teachers and therapists.
