Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.

• If mixed classrooms (EHS and HS), both CDAs are required.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom activities as directed by the teacher and assist with transitions.
• Support organized learning environment with developmentally appropriate activities.
• Communicate child observations to teachers and identify potential interference with development.
• Assist coordination with education, family, mental health and program staff to address identified needs.
• Maintain confidentiality in all areas of child and program operations.
• Follow safety practices and report suspected abuse/neglect per policy.
• Participate in staff development and training per state and agency standards.
