Job summary

Upbring is seeking an Early Head Start Center Floater in Texas to support teachers across classrooms, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for young children. You will assist with daily activities, supervision, and adapt to different ages while following Head Start standards.

The role requires flexibility to travel up to 10% and offers competitive benefits including PTO, health/dental/vision insurance, and a 403(b) plan.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CDA credential preferred or in progress within 2 years of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in implementing daily lesson plans, engaging children in activities, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Ensure active supervision and safety of children in classrooms, playgrounds, and common areas.
• Provide support in multiple classrooms as needed, filling in for teachers, aides, or other staff.
• Help with meal preparation, distribution, and clean-up while promoting healthy eating habits.
• Assist with diapering, toileting, and personal hygiene routines following Head Start health and safety guidelines.
• Foster positive interactions and support social-emotional development.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment and learning materials.

Education
