Job summary

Wonderspring is seeking staff to support its Early Head Start program at the Pottstown Center. The role provides flexible coverage across two classrooms (Infant and Toddler) to ensure consistent care and supervision.

The position emphasizes teamwork, privacy, and adherence to childcare rules, with a CDA credential preferred or willingness to earn it. Benefits include insurance, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA credential or willingness to earn it with a free course.
• 2+ years of experience working with children, infants and toddlers preferred.
• Strong teamwork and flexibility.
• Ability to keep information private.
• Basic knowledge of childcare rules.
• Must obtain all required clearances and complete a Health Assessment with TB screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Support two Early Head Start classrooms throughout the day.
• Assist with daily routines, including caregiving and active supervision.
• Step into the classrooms to maintain ratios and continuity of care.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
