Job summary

United Counseling Service in Vermont is seeking a Co-Teacher for Early Head Start to supervise a group of infants and toddlers and deliver comprehensive services to families.

The role requires an Infant Toddler CDA (or CDA within 6 months), plus strong communication and teamwork skills; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. You will participate in parent conferences, maintain records, and support a positive, inclusive classroom.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary supervision for up to four infants/toddlers or five two-year-olds in a class.
• Plan and implement curriculum reflecting individual needs and ensure safety and learning environment.
• Record progress and manage daily reports; communicate with parents and staff.
• Conduct two parent conferences and two home visits annually; support home learning activities.
• Supervise and train junior staff and interns; assist with center-wide activities.
