Otero College Child Development Services is seeking a Bus Monitor - Early Head Start in Pueblo to assist the bus driver and support teachers in delivering safe, age-appropriate activities. You will help supervise infants and toddlers on the bus, enforce safety rules, and communicate with families.

Responsibilities include adhering to Head Start standards, maintaining attendance and mealtime records, and assisting in curriculum implementation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with infant and toddler children.
• First Aid and Infant/Child CPR current or obtained within 30 days if applicable.
• Eligible to work in a childcare setting.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Demonstrate integrity, ethics and confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Assist the bus driver and ensure a safe ride for children.
• Follow Head Start standards and state regulations for childcare.
• Support families and participate in required trainings.
• Maintain attendance and meal records and classroom materials.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and parents.
• Assist with routine safety checks and emergency procedures.
