Job summary

Bright Horizons – Northfield, IL. Bright Horizons is hiring teachers for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Earned incentives of $2,000 after 100 days, with opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

You’ll create hands-on activities, communicate with families, and maintain a safe classroom in a supportive, growth‑mocused setting. Applicants must meet IL state requirements for Teacher Qualified status and have relevant education or experience; a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Background checks required by state and Bright Horizons and minimum education/experience requirements
• 60 sem hours (or 90 quarter hours) with related coursework in child care and/or development from birth to age 6
• Alternative: 1 year (1560 clock hours) of child development with 30 sem hours in related coursework

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet children’s needs and interests
• Maintain open communication with parents about daily milestones
• Ensure a safe, clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
