Job summary

Bright Horizons in Lake Forest, IL is hiring a Bright Horizons Teacher to support infants, toddlers and preschoolers in a full-time role. You will create hands-on activities, communicate with families, and ensure a safe, clean classroom in adherence with Bright Horizons’ policies.

This position offers growth through our CDA and degree program, requires state background checks and IL Teacher Qualified eligibility, and in-person work at our Lake Forest center.

Qualifications

• Must pass required state and Bright Horizons background checks.
• Must meet IL Teacher Qualified requirements.
• 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor in early education preferred.
• 1 year of teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
