Early Education Intensive Paraeducator (0.8 FTE) Needed

Location: Shelburne Community School

Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) is seeking a warm, energetic, highly organized, and dynamic Early Education Intensive Paraeducator (0.8 FTE) to join our early education team at Shelburne Community School (SCS). This is a part-time position (4 days per week, up to 28 hours per week) supporting an inclusive preschool classroom.

This position is vital to our mission of ensuring all students achieve grade-level expectations through specialized support and inclusive practices. The successful candidate will be a skilled, caring advocate for student growth, an innovative problem-solver, and a positive contributor to our collaborative school community.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide direct, intensive support for individual and small groups of students in the areas of personal development, personal care, behavior support, and social-emotional skills.
