Bright Horizons in Asheville, NC is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our in-person early education team. The role supports infants to preschoolers, with opportunities to grow professionally and pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

You will assist with activities, communicate milestones to families, and help maintain a safe, clean classroom while following Bright Horizons policies and state regulations.

Qualificações

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with hands‑on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child’s daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements as defined by the appropriate State agency, including reporting any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to the agency and informing the director.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center.
