Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring an Assistant Teacher in Charlotte, NC to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a center-based setting. Full-time and part-time options; shifts 11am-6pm or 9am-6pm available.

You will assist with hands-on activities, communicate with families, and help maintain a safe, clean classroom under Bright Horizons policies. The role offers ongoing professional development, access to a CDA or college degree at no cost, competitive pay, and a supportive work environment

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center.
