Bright Horizons in Nashville, TN is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in person. Full-time and part-time roles are available, with the opportunity to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

You will assist with hands-on activities, maintain open communication with parents, and help keep a safe, clean classroom while providing coverage across centers as needed. Qualifications include background checks, a high school diploma or GED, and 1 year of child

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred.
• CDA/Associate/Bachelor’s degree in early education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child’s daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations.
