Springfield Public Schools' Duggan Academy seeks an organized Early College Coordinator to lead and coordinate its Early College program for grades 6–12. You will connect students, families, counselors, and college partners to align opportunities with students’ plans and career interests.

The role emphasizes pathway development in Education, Criminal Justice, and Health, with responsibility for advising, enrollment support, and credit attainment across middle and high school levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience working with high school and/or college-age students.
• Strong organizational, communication, project-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple partners, schedules, deadlines, and student records.
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, families, school staff, college faculty, and higher education partners.
• Ability to manage student-level data accurately, maintain confidentiality, and travel to local college campuses and partner organizations as required.

Responsibilities

• Grades 6-12 Pathway Awareness, Recruitment & Enrollment: partner with middle school staff to expose students to college, careers, and Early College.
• College Partnerships, Courses & Scheduling: liaise with local colleges, align offerings with master schedule and credits.
• Student & Family Advising and Support: provide ongoing Early College advising for grades 9–12 and family engagement.
• Academic Alignment & High School Credit: maintain crosswalk between college/high school courses and graduation requirements.
• Program Operations, Data & Accountability: manage applications, rosters, enrollment, and required reporting; track outcomes.
