Job summary

Trenholm State Community College seeks an Early College Coordinator to oversee the Dual Enrollment Program, guiding high school students into college courses while still in high school. You will manage outreach, advising, programming and student support for dual credit, workforce credentials, and related postsecondary pathways.

The role requires collaboration with high school partners, monitoring admissions, scholarships, and FERPA compliance, and coordinating enrollment, events, and materials

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience working with high school students and in orientation/success initiatives.
• Experience with recruiting and outreach to school partners.
• At least two years of experience advising or recruiting in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for early college participants and coordinate program activities.
• Collaborate with local high school administrators, counselors, and faculty to implement the program.
• Assist with determining admissions, scholarship eligibility, and compliance monitoring.
• Coordinate student enrollment to meet eligibility requirements of the Early College program.
• Organize information sessions, orientations, workshops to promote the program.
• Develop guided pathways and course crosswalks to align dual enrollment.
• Provide advisement to support career and academic exploration for early college students.
• Track student outcomes and ensure FERPA compliance.
• Maintain communications with faculty and staff to maximize dual enrollment opportunities.
• Support end-of-year ceremonies and required workshops.
