Job summary

Greater Lawrence Community Action Council is seeking a Toddler Teacher in Lawrence, MA to support and implement child-centered activities in a healthy classroom setting. You will promote positive outcomes by engaging with children and guiding self-help skills during daily routines.

This role requires a CDA or AA in ECE, EEC Certification, and at least three months of supervised toddler experience; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have CDA or AA in ECE or related field and three months supervised toddler experience.
• Must have a valid EEC Teacher Certification and meet EEC, QRIS & NAEYC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement classroom activities and supervise children in daily routines.
• Demonstrate positive interactions and plan activities to promote learning across developmental domains.
• Maintain accurate records (attendance, meal sheets, reports, logs).
• Communicate daily with supervisor, coworkers, and parents.
• Maintain portfolios and child assessment data (online and paper).
• Supervise Teacher Assistants, Interns/Student teachers.
