Job summary

Bright Horizons is hiring a Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a Bedford/Waltham area center. The role offers both full-time and part-time options with opportunities to grow and pursue higher education through our CDA and Degree programs.

You’ll deliver engaging curriculum, maintain strong parent communication, and contribute to a safe, nurturing learning environment. Candidate must meet background checks and education requirements, with preferred experience in child care

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Education in early childhood or related field preferred (CDA, associate, or bachelor’s).
• 1 year of professional experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) required.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child’s daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements and report suspected abuse/neglect to authorities and director.
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or nearby locations.
