AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS, is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing environment. You will lead age-appropriate activities and collaborate with staff to meet developmental goals.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, daily progress updates to families, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards. The role is full-time with daytime hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ year of experience in early childhood education.
• First Aid CPR AED certification preferred.

Job Description

SIGN ON BONUS: $5,000 *COMPLIMENTARY CARE FOR ONE CHILD/INCREASED PAY RATES* Shift: Full Time Days: 9:00am to 5:30pm The Early Childhood Teacher supervises, interacts with, and ensures the safety of children at all times. Develops and implements age-appropriate curriculum and monthly goals to meet children's developmental needs. Communicates effectively with parents, greeting them and discussing their child's day. Maintains sanitary conditions in the room and adheres to infection prevention policies. Provides responsive care by adapting daily routines to the needs of individual children and the group.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Teachers must have a clear understanding of the curriculum standards for the age of the children in their classes.
• Lesson planning.
