AdventHealth is seeking a Paraprofessional for Early Learning in Shawnee Mission, KS. The role supports children under ECSE, PT, OT, SLP, MT, and BCBA to foster cognitive, communication, and social skills while assisting with daily routines.

Responsibilities include classroom prep, supervision, and participating in therapy sessions with families. Education requirements include a HS diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's preferred, and good communication and tech skills.

• Provide direct support to children to develop cognitive, communication, self-help, social, motor, and sensory processing skills.
• Assist with self-care routines including diapering, feeding, toilet training, and hand washing.
• Prepare materials, organize classroom and storage, and assist with supplies.
• Substitute for teachers/paraprofessionals when needed.
• Participate in therapy sessions and parent conferences as appropriate.

Paraprofessional at Early Learning

Location: Shawnee Mission, KS

Street Address: 9120 W 75th St, Shawnee Mission, Kansas 66204

Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day (United States of America)

Schedule: Full-Time Days Shift: 40 hours per week/8 hours per day

Key Responsibilities

• Provides direct support to children under the supervision of ECSE, PT, OT, SLP, MT, and BCBA to assist in developing cognitive, communication, self-help, social, motor, and sensory processing skills.
