Job summary

AdventHealth in Kansas is seeking a qualified professional to support therapy teams serving children. You will collaborate with physical, occupational, speech-language, and behavior analysts, coordinate with leadership and a social worker, and train students, interns, volunteers, and families to access community resources.

  • Entry level competency of behavior analytic practice with young children [Preferred]

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with physical, occupational, speech-language, and music therapists, as well as early childhood special educators and BCBA.
  • Works with leadership team and social worker on individual child and family needs and accessing community resources.
  • Trains and educates students, interns, volunteers, and patient's family members.
  • Supports staff by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Organizes data and individual children's programs daily.
  • Maintains organization in the classroom and other areas.
  • Builds professional relationships with co-workers by being considerate of workloads and assisting with duties.
  • Communicates honestly and addresses issues and problems privately.
  • Respects each discipline's expertise and knowledge without questioning it in front of the patient/family.
  • Provides direct therapy under the supervision of the BCBA to assist children in developing cognitive, language, self-help, social, and motor skills.
  • Punctual with returning phone calls and emails, and for scheduled work hours, meetings, and patient treatment.
  • Utilizes computer access confidentially and appropriately, following HIPAA guidelines, including appropriate use of social media.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) [Preferred]
  • NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$17.06 - $27.29
