AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS, is seeking a Childcare Teacher to provide quality early learning and age-appropriate activities for each child, serving as a liaison with families and center leadership. You will contribute to program development and maintain a supportive total learning environment.

Responsibilities include implementing curriculum standards, collaborating with staff, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Job Description

The Childcare Teacher is responsible for assisting in providing quality early learning and age-appropriate activities for each child's individual needs. This position ensures a total learning environment is maintained. Additionally, this role serves as a liaison between children, parents, and the center's leadership team. In addition, this position supports the development and implementation of educational programs. This role contributes to the overall effectiveness of the learning center through active participation in team efforts.

SIGN ON BONUS: $5,000

• Maintains standards as outlined by state health department licensing.

• Informs proper associates of changes in adult/child ratios to ensure appropriate staffing.
