Join us as an Early Childhood Teacher at Bright Horizons

We are currently hiring an Early Childhood Two's Teacher near the Embarcadero in San Francisco, California. Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities tailored to children's needs and interests.
  2. Maintain open communication with parents about their child's milestones.
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • 12 ECE units in progress or completed, including Child Development, Child Family Community, and 2 curriculum courses (Infant/Toddler class required for Infant or Toddler positions). Transcripts are required at hire.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
  • Preferred: CDA, Associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) is required.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires compliance with health and safety regulations, including immunizations and background checks. The employee will work in person at our early education center, providing supervision, care, and curriculum delivery, ensuring children's safety in accordance with laws and policies. Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly rate ranges from $25.75 to $31.25. Actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
