Children’s Day School in San Francisco seeks a Preschool Substitute and Afternoon Teacher. The role involves covering classes for 3-5-year-olds and supporting the afternoon program. Preschool Substitute and Afternoon Teacher (FT, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm)
Children’s Day School (CDS) is a co-educational preschool through eighth grade serving over 460 students in the Mission Dolores neighborhood of San Francisco. Spanning two campuses and home to a diverse community of students, faculty, and families, CDS is a vibrant learning community. Reporting to the ECP Afternoon Manager and Early Childhood Program Director, the Preschool Sub and Afternoon Teacher is responsible for helping lead the afternoon and camp teachers in providing an excellent, developmentally appropriate preschool program for 3 - 5-year-olds, and supporting the Preschool Extended Program Manager to close the afternoon program for the day. During the school day, the Preschool Substitute/Afternoon Teacher will cover classes in the ECP as a substitute teacher or support in a floater role when not needed as a sub.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:30 am - 6 pm. Available to work during the school year and during school breaks, and at camps.
Compensation: The hourly rate will be $29 - $31 per hour (based on our established salary scale). Excellent benefits are offered, including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, tuition remission, education reimbursement, professional development, and retirement plan..
