Owner/Director at Parker River Community Preschool

Small farm-based licensed outdoor nature preschool seeks early educator to join our team for SUMMER 2025 (6 weeks) and SCHOOL YEAR 2025-26 (Sept-June).

Role involves full or part time outdoor teaching on farm (inside heated space for storms or afternoon warm ups in winter) with a focus on social emotional learning, play, and emergent curriculum.

Nature/Farm curriculum includes, but is not limited to: plant growth, farm to table cooking, insect id & habitats, animal id & habitats, plant id, vernal pool, forest, marsh, & field ecosystems, recycling, composting, goat care, chicken care, etc!!!

Small team of 10 kind, experienced teachers including teaching director & assistant director. Support/staffing needed in our 2's classroom group & our multiage preschool. Our day runs 9am-2:30pm with Early & Late Care available 8am-4:30pm.

***Must love being outdoors in nature in all weather (stipend to purchase good outerwear) and building authentic, respectful relationships with children & families. Early Education background/experience required. Salary to include weekly curriculum planning & classroom prep on Fridays. Closed for school vacation weeks. 6-week summer program optional. Applicants must join for a morning working interview to be considered.
