Job summary

St. Louis Child Development Center in Biddeford, ME is seeking an on-call Early Childhood Substitute to engage with children and support, promote, and facilitate learning through play.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.

• Assist with daily activities during the 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule.

About the Role: The substitute teacher is the professional person who will be actively engaged with and observe the children while supporting, promoting, enhancing, and facilitating learning situations.

Pay:

$16.50 - $18.50/hour. Salary commensurate with education/experience

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, as needed. Center is open 8:00AM - 5:00PM.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a high school diploma and be 18 years of age. Preferably a CDA or some Early Childhood coursework, or a compatible course of study.
• At least three months experience working with children.
• Must be willing to become CPR & First Aide certified.
