Durango 4C Council/Tri-County Head Start is seeking an Early Childhood Substitute to support Preschool and Toddler classrooms when regular staff are absent. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing environment, assist with daily routines, meals, outdoor play, and child guidance in a dynamic early childhood program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in early childhood education preferred.
• Background checks are required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Support Preschool and Toddler classrooms when regular staff are absent.
• Assist with daily routines, classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and child guidance.
• Substitute as a classroom Floats and provide support to ensure continuity of care and smooth daily program operations.
