Position Summary

The Early Childhood Substitute supports Preschool and Toddler classrooms when regular teaching staff is absent. This position helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment by assisting with daily routines, classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and child guidance. Substitutes may also serve as classroom Floats and provide support wherever needed to ensure continuity of care for children and smooth daily program operations.

Schedule: Varies and as needed Monday - Friday, 7:15 - 3:15
Pay Range: $17.75 - $19.32 per hour, depending on education and experience

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in early childhood education preferred
• Background checks are required for hire

Eligible employee benefits include:

• 4 sick days, plus 1 hour sick time accrued for every 30 hours worked
