YWCA Richmond seeks an energetic Early Childhood Education School Director to lead one Sprout School, overseeing daily operations, curriculum implementation, and staff development.

The role emphasizes enrollment growth, regulatory compliance, and strong family engagement while building relationships with staff and families within a mission-driven environment. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to expand Sprout programs in collaboration with leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing multiple licensed schools, childcare centers or preschools.
• Experience opening new childcare locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enrollment and fill openings as needed.
• Maintain children’s files and comply with state regulations.
• Lead family engagement opportunities with staff and families.
• Supervise school staff, provide coaching and discipline as needed.
• Coordinate with HR and facilities teams on staffing and space needs.
• Represent Sprout Schools and YWCA Richmond at events and committees.
